Learn how connections are made in Netrivals
It is important to distinguish the types of connections available in NetRivals:
Automatic Connections
These connections are automatically established whenever NetRivals finds matching EAN codes on competitor or seller websites.
Smart Suggestions
Smart Suggestions provide potential matches by comparing product titles, images, and references from your competitors or sellers within our database. This feature facilitates product matching when exact EAN codes aren’t available.
Manual Connections
When neither automatic matches nor suggestions are available, you can create connections manually. Simply select the product, go to the ‘Connect’ tab, and paste the URL of the desired product. This option allows you full control over establishing product links.
Passive Connections
This feature enables bulk import of product connections, making it easy to add multiple connections at once. Passive Connections are especially useful for setting up a large number of links outside of the SaaS platform. For more information, Please refer to the dedicated FAQ
How often does Netrivals tool crawl competitors for connections?
NetRivals updates competitor prices (if available) and establishes new connections daily by default, ensuring your data remains current and actionable.
